ByWays Outreach Day – How to Participate
Join us every 3rd Saturday from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM as we serve our community through the ByWays ministry.
What to Expect
9:30 AM – Arrival & Preparation
Arrive at the church and enter through the main entrance.
Help package snack kits, toiletries, and essential items. Youth and children are more than welcome to support with preparation and clean-up.
11:00 AM – Outreach
Adults will go to a local encampment to distribute care kits.
In addition to supplies, we offer prayer, encouragement, and connection—sharing help and hope.
12:30 PM – Return
We return to the church and wrap up the day.

Do you have a heart to serve those whom others often overlook? Have you considered joining our prison ministry? This is an opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of inmates by sharing hope, compassion, and the love of Christ. If you feel called to this vital ministry, we'd love to have you join us.
Going In, Staying In jail ministry training is for new and returning volunteers. It focuses on orientation to chaplaincy and facility updates, as well as context-specific skill building, such as trauma-informed ministry and cultural humility. The training is free and open to anyone over the age of 21.
Middle and high school students will head to the UC Berkeley campus to catch an exciting invitational track meet with some of the most talented athletes in the Bay Area. The best part? They’ll get to cheer on their own teacher and mentor, Mr. Lex, as he hits the track and competes for San Jose State. Register your teen below!
